The
Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park is blessed with many
different golf courses. If you are a keen golfer or even if you just
like the occasional game, make sure that you bring your clubs with
you. Below we have listed all the golf clubs in the Park (if we have
missed some then please contact us) with some details. There are
Internationally renowned courses and also interesting small village
courses to choose from.
Due to the geographical location
of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park and in particular the
East of the Park, access to some of the worlds best and most
renowned golf courses is very straight forward. St Andrews is under
2 hours from most of the East Park and Gleneagles is only 20
minutes. Both locations providing some interesting golfing choices.
There
are also a number of courses which are just outside the park but
which we have included in a list at the bottom of those courses
which are physically within the park. Together we hope that this
will give golfing visitors a variety of choices to suit very
different needs no matter whereabouts in the park you happen to be
staying. If there is a course that you believe should be added to
this list then please contact us with the details of the golf course
and its location.

Aberfoyle
Aberfoyle Golf Club presides over an 18 hole parkland golf
course and although it is a village club, it is maintained
to a very high standard. Visitors are welcome but may be
restricted on some weekends. The course itself is a short
5204 yard par 66 but loved by those who play it. The club
house has been recently renovated and visitors are always
given a warm welcome. The 10th tee (Roderick), a short 115
yard lob is unique and both loved and hated by many. The
course has magnificent scenery all around.
