The
East side of the park runs from Balquhidder south of Loch Earn
through Strathyre, Callander, Brig O'Turk in the central
Trossachs, Port of Menteith, Aberfoyle and Gartmore to the
south.
This
part of the park contains the entire Trossachs area with
many lochs and mountains as well as those interesting towns
and villages listed above.
There are many water
bourn activities, cycle tracks, walks and much more to
enjoy.
The Rob Roy Way runs
through this part of the park from
Drymen in the south
through Aberfoyle, and then on through much of the east park
to
Killin in the north east of
the park.
Aberfoyle is a main centre for cycle tracks and forest
walks.
If you like it is the outdoor capital of the National Park
and a great place to stay to explore the Trossachs.
