Lying in the grounds of the owner's home, enjoying shared use of their private tennis court (by arrangement), this comfortable, south facing detached cottage boasts views over its own colourful cottage garden.     Blairhosh Cottage is situated just a short drive from the popular resort of Balloch on the beautiful  Loch Lomond, within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.

The Old Smiddy was built in 1862 and was used as a blacksmiths shop until the middle of the 1900's. There is a lot of history surrounding the place itself which enjoys modern features as well as reminders of years gone by.  The Old Smiddy cottage is built over Ballagan burn where there used to be the Old Smiddy workshop where there was a trap door and the cart wheels were fired up and dropped down through this door to cool down.
