Kiltyrie Farmhouse, no
longer a working farm, was reopened as a Bed & Breakfast in
2008 after being bought by Jane Watts, who relocated to
Killin from Glasgow. The former Music Librarian of Scottish
Opera, Jane now works as the Project Development Officer for
a new Community Venue,
The Big Shed.
In her spare time, Jane teaches piano and violin lessons to
students of varying ages and abilities.

Cottage is a 17th century thatched cottage, set on the
shores of Loch Earn. It was once owned by the MacGregors and
later by the Duke of Breadalbane - decended from the
Campbells of Breadalbane. The cottage has retained many of
its original features including most of the original
stonework and an original heather thatched roof - now
protected and weatherproofed using a modern thatch
'underlay'.

easily accessed from the main road. Walking route, “The West
Highland Way” and Tyndrum Lower railway station are both
within easy walking distance
Strathfillan House is the former Manse operated by the
Church of Scotland until 1969. We now run the house as a
family home and have decided to open a few rooms for B&B.
The house was quite grand for the area at the time and still
retains most of the original features and is situated in its
own grounds, the nearest neighbour being 500m away.
