The Forth Inn is a family run hotel in the centre of Aberfoyle and at the heart of Scotland's First National Park. I'm so pleased that you're thinking of coming to Aberfoyle. This really is a glorious part of the country. You're only an hours drive from Glasgow and half an hour from Stirling, but you'd think the nearest pollution was a continent away. If you're dreaming of strikingly beautiful mountains dropping towards a dark blue loch, with white washed pebbles on the shore, that, indeed, is our hotel at Aberfoyle.

The Rob Roy Hotel is situated at the gateway to the Trossachs in beautiful countryside where one of Scotland's most famous rogue's "Rob Roy McGregor" once roamed.The Hotel is an ideal centre for touring the Trossachs, Perthshire and the Highlands. In the centre of Rob Roy country, the Loch Achray Hotel was built in 1870 as a lodge house, although the site has hosted a building since the 9th century when a mill and cottage stood there. The hotel has 87 bedrooms with dining room, ballroom and bar. The main foyer and staircase have seen an elegant refurbishment very recently.

Glenbruach is ideally situated for most outdoor activities, climbing, fishing, bird watching and cycling all on the doorstep. Horse riding and golf are close by. All these within easy travelling distance from both Glasgow and Edinburgh (one hour by car). The nearest town is the popular tourist destination of Callander
