Loch Tay Fishing

Loch Tay is at the North eastern end the Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Killin is the National park village at that side of the park. The River Dochart flows into Loch Loch Tay at this point. The Loch offers trout, salmon, pike and char. Ferox trout are also in abundance in this area. Boat hire and all your permit needs are available 3 miles east of Killin at Loch Tay Highland Lodges

Pike fishing is more common in the west of the loch around Killin as there are more reed beds here. There are also increasing numbers of roach.

Accommodation is available in and around the village of Killin.
