Fishing River Teith, Callander

Down stream from and including Callander the River Teith offers very good fly fishing, sea trout and salmon are usually plentiful in this stretch of the river. The river Teith is probably the best salmon river in the central Scotland area. The river has its source in Loch Venacher and is joined by the river Leny (which sources in Loch Lubnaig) just before Callander. Further down stream the river Teith loses its name as it joins the River Forth.
