Fishing River Dochart

The river runs from Tyndrum  where is called the Cononish then it changes its name to the River Fillan just and then from Crianlarich it is known as the River Dochart where after plunging down the Falls of Dochart at Killin it flows gently into Loch Tay. At this point from the falls to the Tay, salmon fishing is severely restricted to local residents. Permits however are available for coarse fishing

There is often fantastic fishing to be had in summers that are wet such as 2007. The fish are plentiful in such circumstances
