The Drovers Inn is on old inn used by the Highland drovers who used to drive their cattle down the side of Loch Lomond to the markets. The decor and furniture, in deference to the past, look as though they have not been changed or altered for a couple of hundred years.

The hotel was built as a private hunting lodge for the Colquhoun family around 1851. It was first opened as a hotel in 1886. Two years later the east wing was added, while the west wing was added by 1905. The hotel today is painted white due to the three different types of stone used to build the main building & each of the two wings.

Ferry cottage is quietly situated at the gateway to the Scottish Highlands within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, and offers a relaxing way to get away from it all for that weekend break or as a stopping point on a tour of Argyll and Northwest Scotland.

Welcome to the Village Inn, a small hotel (or inn) in the heart of the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park. Originally built as a church manse in1872, The Village Inn is situated in the charming village of Arrochar. Mansefield House is a fine Grade B listed Victorian house built circa 1840 which retains many original features. Large gracious reception rooms with high ceilings and ornate cornicing lend themselves to entertaining, while the main character of the house is warm, comfortable and homely.

The picturesque garden slopes down to the loch side and is an ideal spot for morning coffee.

The house commands magnificent views over the loch and islands to Luss on the western shore. The private garden has large elevated timber decked area, with seating from which guests can enjoy the breath taking scenery. There is also a private jetty on the foreshore, from which some guests fish or swim. Permits for fishing are available locally.
